The name "Your Average Joe" was a sarcastic joke applied to me by my Army Chaplain who kept telling me I was "the most unusual human" he'd ever met.

My photographic artistry was discovered by Master Photographer Richard LaVelle of Cleveland. I was his apprentice.

My craft was honed in Cleveland, Detroit & finally Chicago as a regional photographer for United Studios.

My business sense has been questioned due to the fact I care "too much" about the customer.

My sense of responsibility comes from helping to raise my sisters from age 12 instead of choosing to live apart in comfort.

My ability to do the job is a combination of technical and practical experience through sports timing and artistic exposure.

My discipline is the result of my Gram making sure I did what was right regardless of any reason.

And thanks to the Army, I understand the concept of completing what I've started under any and all circumstances.

Due to some advice from an early mentor, I have an appreciation for the work people do and the lives they chose to live.
