When I first started this, I looked at all the news guys who ALL had short hair. I didn't want to look like the newspaper dudes and dudettes.

So I grew my hair out to look different than them.

Besides, over the years, I've tried every length from nearly bald to middle of the back and I know from others that I look best with longer hair or really short hair (if I'm in good shape). There is no medium length that looks good or is easy to care for on me.... It's all or none.
